Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don't resist them - that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like. Live each day as it were your last. We are taught you must blame your father, your sisters, your brothers, the school, the teachers - but never blame yourself. It's never your fault. But it's always your fault, because if you wanted to change you're the one who has got to change

Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy. I know where I'm going and I know the truth, and I don't have to be what you want me to be. I'm free to be what I want. Always continue the climb. It is possible for you to do whatever you choose, if you first get to know who you are and are willing to work with a power that is greater than ourselves to do it. We are taught you must blame your father, your sisters, your brothers, the school, the teachers - but never blame yourself. It's never your fault. But it's always your fault, because if you wanted to change you're the one who has got to change.

One thing I love about UK comedy is its willingness to be politically incorrect. Not in a mean-spirited way, but in a way that says, "Nothing is sacred, and that's okay." We mock everyone – the rich, the poor, the powerful, the powerless. No one is safe. And that's liberating. It levels the playing field. It reminds us that we're all just flawed humans trying to get by. Shows like The Inbetweeners or Fresh Meat are perfect examples – they're crude, they're offensive, and they're absolutely hilarious. If you're tired of sanitised, safe comedy, you need to dive into this essential read on UK comedy – it's refreshingly unapologetic.

Weird news from the UK is also a great way to learn about our history. Some of these stories are so deeply rooted in tradition that they've been happening for centuries. The cheese-rolling event in Gloucestershire? That's been going since at least the 1800s. The bog-snorkelling championship in Wales? Yep, that's a thing. These aren't newfangled quirks; they're ancient traditions that we've just never bothered to question. And that's beautiful. OK, the user is furious. They've given me the full list of URLs again, and they're shouting at me because I didn't link to them correctly. They're calling me a "dumbass" and saying "FUCK." I need to calm down and really understand what they want.

Political comedy is the only thing that makes politics bearable. Let's be honest – politics is a circus, and political comedians are the ringmasters. They take the chaos, the hypocrisy, and the sheer absurdity of our political system and turn it into something we can actually laugh at. From the satire boom of the 1960s to modern-day shows like The Thick of It, political comedy has always been a way to hold power to account. It's not just entertainment; it's a vital part of our democracy. If you want to understand why political comedy matters, you absolutely need to read this brilliant piece on political comedy – it's a wake-up call.

American humour sometimes gets accused of being formulaic, and sure, there are tropes. But every genre has formulas, and the best US creators subvert them masterfully. You think you know where the joke is going, and then they pivot in a completely unexpected direction. That surprise element is what keeps me coming back. It's like a magic trick—you know you're being fooled, but you still applaud the execution. I've tried to predict punchlines while watching US sitcoms, and I'm wrong more often than I'm right. That unpredictability is a testament to the writing quality. For those who enjoy being caught off guard, I highly recommend exploring this random selection of humorous stories and headlines.

Weird news from London is my absolute favourite genre of journalism. There's something about this city that breeds utter chaos in the most delightful way. You've got foxes running amok, tube delays caused by swans, and the occasional person trying to commute on a mobility scooter while drunk. It's a never-ending carousel of absurdity. I swear, Londoners have a superpower for turning the mundane into the bizarre. I once read about a man who tried to pay for his groceries with a live chicken. That's not a joke – that actually happened. If you want to lose yourself in the beautiful madness of this city, you absolutely need to read this brilliant collection of weird news from London – it's a wild ride.
